Even though the "You're the Chef" gang loves TV, Chef Paul and Tom actually do read books. Of course, they don't read the same books! Chef Paul invites you to check out some of his current favorite cooking books. As for Tom's selections, all we can say is that he is not a chef.
Chef Paul's current picks:
The Book of Bourbon Cover Cafe Bouland Cookbook Cover The Elements of Taste Book Cover
The Book of Bourbon
by Gary Regan and Mardee Haidin Regan
Cafe Boulud Cookbook
by Daniel Boulud and Dorie Greenspan
The Elements of Taste
by Gary Kunz and Peter Kaminsky

Tom's recent reads:
Dude: Where's My Country Book Cover Hollywood Animal Book Cover Rest of the Iceberg Book Cover
Dude: Where's My Country
by Michael Moore

Tom says: Love him or hate him, you can't deny that Michael Moore is one talented, funny guy. I found this book to be his most insightful to date.
Hollywood Animal
by Joe Eszterhas

Tom says: It's self-indulgent at times, but this "rags to riches" account by notorious screenwriter Joe Eszterhas is fascinating. Believe it or not, his story reveals vital life lessons.
The Rest of the Iceberg
by Robert Smith

Tom says: Robert Smith was a very exciting player for the Minnesota Vikings. However, this book wasn't very stimulating. It lacks depth, even for a sports autobiography.
