Herbed Garlic Spread for Toast |
This recipe was inspired by Suzanne Hall, of Walkersville, MD (USA).

Yield: 12 portions
Ingredients:

1/4 c. |
fresh parsley, minced |
|
3 Tbsp. |
fresh basil, minced |
|
3 Tbsp. |
fresh thyme, minced |
|
1 Tbsp. |
fresh mint, minced |
|
3 Tbsp. |
olive oil, virgin |
|
2 Tbsp. |
red wine vinegar |
|
2 tsp. |
granulated sugar |
|
1 Tbsp. |
garlic, minced |
|
1/4 tsp. |
red pepper flakes |

Procedure: Combine the ingredients and allow them to stand for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Slice French bread into 12 pieces and toast them in a 350°F oven until they are golden brown.
Top each warm piece with 2 tsp. of the herb mixture and serve as a wonderful appetizer!
