Placement tests are skills tests focused on math and English. Minimum placement must be met to receive final acceptance. You may choose to test on campus or off campus. Take a look at the dates below and choose the best option for you!

Off-Campus Placement Testing
Test entirely online in an environment of your choosing at a convenient location. Off-campus testing may be completed at any time during the date range you select. Proctor supervision is required and can be an adult in your household.
Do you have a documented disability? If so, you may be eligible to test with accommodations, such as extended time, test reader, etc. Choose from the Accommodated Off-Campus Placement Testing Dates if you plan to request accommodations.

On-Campus Placement Testing
Visit campus and take your placement test with direction and guidance from Penn College staff. While you test, parents and guests are invited to attend a financial aid session and a tour focused on student services.

What is accommodated testing?
Students with documented disabilities may be eligible to complete placement testing with accommodations. Testing accommodations can include extended time, reduced distraction test site, a test reader, a test scribe, and/or the use of a calculator, spell checker, or computer. Students who register for an accommodated test date should contact our Disability and Access Resources to discuss needs and eligibility.
