Nursing, Completion (B.S.) Online

Ideal for the working professional, this 100% online degree can be completed on a part-time or a full-time basis. 

 

 

Nursing, Traditional (B.S.)

From start to finish, this bachelor's degree option is designed for students who wish to pursue advanced clinical and administrative positions in the healthcare field.

Nursing, LPN to RN (A.A.S.)

In just three semesters, working LPNs can further their career goals while attending class and clinical on Fridays and weekends. 

Nursing, RN Preparation (A.A.S.)

The Nursing, RN Preparation associate-degree program includes extensive hands-on lab and clinical experience and is designed to prepare graduates to take their registered nursing licensing exam.

Health Arts: Practical Nursing Emphasis (A.A.S.)

The 17-month Practical Nursing track prepares graduates to take the licensing exam and work under the direction of a licensed professional nurse, physician, or dentist.

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s School of Nursing & Health Sciences Diversity Taskforce, in collaboration with Nate Woods Jr., special assistant to the president for inclusion transformation, recently hosted a “Lunch & Learn” to explore LGBTQ+ issues in health care.

Nursing, dental students gain patient insights via poverty simulation

Sixty-six nursing and dental hygiene students took part in a “poverty simulation,” designed to put them in the shoes of families trying to meet obligations on a low income. “You never know what someone else is going through,” many students noted.

PTK pitches in on monkey movement for kids' comfort

Students in Penn College’s Phi Theta Kappa chapter recently convened to prepare 144 plush monkey toys for children experiencing scary or difficult situations. The monkeys are provided by Aly’s Monkey Movement, a local nonprofit started by the then 10-year-old daughter of nursing student Kristy L. Creasy, who introduced the project to PTK members and provided instruction.
