Fish Real Estate Leadership Challenge Course

In Memory of William H. Fish

This challenge course enables participants to grow at both the team and individual levels by exploring leadership and communication concepts, problem-solving, and coaching. The Course focuses on collaboration; the challenges call upon every member of the team to participate, and they present unending opportunities for self-discovery and team growth.

Nine different elements make up the course and range in physical difficulty. Our trained facilitators reflect on what was learned with the completion of each event, with every group. This helps groups to learn how they function as a team, allowing them to find ways to be more effective.

The Fish Real Estate Challenge Course can be reserved for a specified number of hours or for a full day. Catering can be provided to your team at an additional cost. Parking and restroom facilities will be provided.

Pennsylvania College of Technology does require participants of the Fish Real Estate Leadership Challenge Course to complete required documentation.

This activity involves getting your group to safely traverse multiple lengths of cable without falling off. There are trees and poles between the stretches of cable which help, but moving across between trees can be very challenging. Communication and trust are key to success here.

Similar to the Wildcat Walk, but this activity uses planks instead of rope. The challenge added here is that trees or poles are off limits as supports. When several people are on the walk, they can support each as a team effort.

This is a trust-building activity. Team members pair up and stand facing each other at the intersection of two cables strung into a ā€œVā€ shape. The pair hold hands or lock arms and shuffle outwards on the cables as the cables get further apart. As the participants progress along the widening V, they will lean increasingly harder on each other.

A very physical element where the goal is to get your entire group across the course from one tire to the next without touching the ground.

This activity is a low profile but challenging station! It begins easily, but the difficulty is increased quickly as participants traverse.

Teams swing across an imaginary canyon using 1 rope and four platforms. The basic rules at this station are that the hazard will consume the life support tools (rope, platforms) if participants let go or stop touching that item until all members are across the obstacle.

This tightrope like activity involves a two-line bridge with one rope as a handrail.

This element involves dangling support ropes which are hung at various heights and lengths. Your team will then climb these ropes simultaneously.

This element involves a scenario with a sinking ship where everyone has to escape via the porthole to the lifeboat. Team members will pass through a tire with some added difficulties.
