Yield: two cups


  • 1 c. plain yogurt
  • 1 c. cucumbers, skin on, diced fine
  • 1/2 c. ripe tomatoes, seeds removed, diced fine
  • 1/4 c. sour cream
  • 1/4 c. mint leaves, fresh chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. cumin
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • to taste cayenne pepper, ground


  1. Combine all the ingredients together and allow to chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
  2. This dish is cooling to the palate, and is typically served with spicy dishes as a contrast in flavor and temperature.
