Appetizer Herbed Garlic Spread for Toast

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. fresh parsley, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh basil, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh thyme, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh mint, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil, virgin
  • 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes

Directions

Procedure:
  1. Combine the ingredients and allow them to stand for 30 minutes at room temperature.
  2. Slice French bread into 12 pieces and toast them in a 350°F oven until they are golden brown.
  3. Top each warm piece with 2 tsp. of the herb mixture and serve as a wonderful appetizer!
