Johnny Marnell’s background is in performing and managing home energy retrofits. Johnny is a nationally certified Building Performance Institute (BPI) Building Analyst.
Prior to joining Penn College, Johnny worked 13 years as a Weatherization Crew Leader, Energy Auditor, and as the Administrative Director of the Pennsylvania Weatherization Assistance Program for Westmoreland County.
Johnny served in the United States Army achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class as an M1A1 Abrams Tank Commander / Platoon Sergeant. His career also included being a Drill Sergeant at Ft. Knox Kentucky with numerous awards, decorations, and two overseas tours.
