World of Concrete

The Penn College ConCreate Design Club (CDC) is a student organization for future concrete construction managers, plant managers, lab technicians, superintendents, and sales representatives. CDC is actively involved in both on- and off-campus projects, events to support nonprofit groups, as well as dedication projects for our fallen heroes. Both school and community projects provide a relationship within the community and help support the College’s goals. These projects form a tighter-knit relationship between the community and Penn College. The club interacts with professional organizations such as the Pennsylvania Aggregates and Concrete Association (PACA), the American Concrete Institute (ACI), and the American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC). These contacts are vital for training and certifications, in addition to other educational experiences.

In the final semester, Concrete Science students are given the opportunity to attend the World of Concrete annual trade show. This brings the students’ educational experience full circle and gives them the opportunity to see the immense size of the industry. This trip has been made available each year by the generosity of donations and we invite you to help us continue to provide this meaningful experience by making a gift today.

If you prefer to mail your gift, please use the printable gift form.
