The Piston Foundation recently featured Pennsylvania College of Technology student Zachary A. Wiernusz, of Mountain Top, on its blog. The foundation – an independent public charity that helps young car enthusiasts gain access to education and training to begin careers as classic car technicians – awarded Wiernusz a Piston Scholarship.

The story details Wiernusz's love for classic cars and the importance of the scholarship for continuing his education at Penn College. Regarding his education, the automotive technology student tells the foundation, “Penn College has a very good program where it further allows me to expand my knowledge and experience because we actually have live-work labs where we’ll take in faculty and students’ vehicles and perform maintenance on them.”
