Two automotive influencers, four alumni and numerous car dealerships and vehicles rolled onto campus recently, greeted by gorgeous spring weather and excited automotive students and faculty. “Auto Fest” was held in and around Penn College’s Thompson Professional Development Center.

EricTheCarGuy, boasting nearly 1.8 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, and HondaPro Jason, with over 400,000 followers across social media, added a dash of celebrity excitement to the event.

Stars in their own right, four Penn College alumni returned to campus for the event: Steve I. Buten, ’18, automotive technology and ’20, automotive technology management; Brooklynne A. Morse, ’15, automotive technology: Honda PACT emphasis; Rhett J. Staub, ’16, automotive technology: Honda PACT emphasis and ’18, automotive technology management; and Shane W. Whitehead, ’11 automotive technology: Honda PACT emphasis.

Buten works at Ciocca Honda of Williamsport; Morse at Scott Honda of West Chester; Staub with Bobby Rahal Automotive Group – Mechanicsburg Region; and Whitehead with Smail Honda in Greensburg. A number of other dealerships were on hand for the event.

In addition to connecting with the dealership representatives and auto influencers, Penn College students and faculty enjoyed checking out an array of shiny vehicles.
