WNEP-TV's Mackenzie Aucker focuses on the action in the Le Jeune Chef kitchen.

WNEP-TV’s Mackenzie Aucker visited Le Jeune Chef Restaurant to do an “appetizing” story about Penn College students cooking next week at the 150th Kentucky Derby. More than 25 students will continue the college’s tradition of preparing food for Churchill Downs’ premium venues throughout Derby Week. Aucker interviewed Mike S. Dinan, executive chef of Le Jeune Chef; Nicholas P. Matz, a culinary arts student from Schuylkill Haven; and Autumn B. Stanley, a baking & pastry arts student from Lincoln University. Dinan and Stanley are returning to the Derby for the second year in a row. Matz will be making his first trip to the iconic event. Aucker’s story for the ABC affiliate can be viewed here.
